Founded in 2011, Sharp Blades Lawn Care has grown from a teenager’s passion for lawn care into a full-service property maintenance company serving Southwest Iowa. What started with Dylan mowing lawns at age 12 quickly evolved into a branded business by 15, built on hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things right the first time.

As a locally-owned and operated company, we take pride in offering personalized service and giving back to the communities we serve — from sponsoring youth sports to supporting local fundraisers and businesses. Dylan and his team have done a great job keeping our 3.5 acres mowed and our driveway clear of snow the last 9 years. They are reliable and respectful. Sharp Blades recently started setting up and storing Christmas lights and we also have that service. Our lights are up in time to turn them on Thanksgiving night and taken down the first week of January (weather permitting) per our request. I highly recommend this company for your lawn care, snow removal, and Christmas light services!
